Maytag voids the warranty on its units if they find out it's running on
inverter power. I think that this is true of all major mfgrs, but I don't
know for sure. We don't ask, don't tell.
The Staber has proven to hold up very well. I have yet to see a worn-out
part, and they're set up for end-user service with factory support.
