We carry butane mini-torches as part of a solder kit on each truck, plus one
in the shop. These will solder terminals to conductors up to about #2 AWG,
down to about 18 AWG. They also are very good for site-shrinking heat
shrink; just keep it moving. Extremely versatile, portable, and effective
on-site. I think Del City was our supplier several years ago. Around $50.
