Michael,
Tell her to take a trip to the nearest NAPA and get an automotive (12 V)
lift pump. All (most anyway) Diesel trucks, tractors, etc., vehicles use a
lift pump to deliver fuel to the injection pump. They last forever and don't
even coat much!
