hello all
Has anyone found a voltage clamp that will work at 120
to 140 volts and shunt it to a resistor in series with
a 48 volt battery? I have a 4500 watt 120 volt wind
turbine that I want to charge a battery. I would like
to use a MX60 to DC to DC the battery but Outback says
I need a voltage clamp to protect the MX60 from over
voltage.

BTW Has anyone tried this? I can not use the RV
products 60 amp because it will not go this high in
voltage.

Ideas anyone?

Darryl
