For array security its possible to run a small dummy loop wire through the
array wiring, which, when cut, activates an alarm. Nearly any auto or home
alarm with DC powering can be activated this way. A few have radio paging
built in to set off a beeper within half a mile. Others easily activate a
phone dialer with recorded message. Problem is when the area is completely
uninhabited and no phone lines.
