Yes Scarlet, the HU 361 IS rated for multiple wires [RE-wrenches]

Jeff C. / Matt L./ Wrenches:

I contacted Square D about the multiple wires in one lug thing.
They pointed out to me that it is already on the data sheet for 2 wires
per lug - Oops
I guess it would help if I read what they sent me a little closer.
Anyway, you can use (2) wires in each terminal # 10 to #14 AWG Solid or
stranded (He also said don't mix solid and stranded in the same lug).
Bingo - instant combiner 2 strings per input, 1 switch for up to three
inverter.
Just pass the 2 neutrals through the enclosure and land um on 2 of the
3 negative input dc terminals.

The preliminary sheet is up on our web site and the latest one should
be up in the next few days.
Doug from Real Goods also posted a link to the original on the Square D
site a week or so ago.
You have to cut and paste the link together because it is so long but
it will work.

Best Regards,,

Hi Matt,

Yes I see your points. I was trying to get away with only one line
to the SB by combining a the HU361 but if each lug is rated for only
one cu landing that won't work and it defeats what I was after.

But it strikes me as very odd that a PSSB breaker can be rated to two
conductors/lug but not the nice big lugs on a HU361. Any chance of
that rating changing? John B?

Thanks,

Jeff C.

My drawing was electrical not orientation - but yes thanks for the
reminder of using the shieded side correctly.
