Sounds like a low end RV unit. Gasoline is not a wise choice of fuels for
serious off-grid system - it's a highly flammable liquid with explosive
vapors that goes bad in the tank if not used in a comparatively short period
of time. Plus it costs a lot to buy and is a pain to transport. Plus plus
gasoline engines wear out long before Diesel or propane engines do.
Can't you find him a nice propane set with electric start?
