GC 1000 service [RE-wrenches]

I wrote a few weeks ago about installing a GC-1000 and AM100 monitor. I
was having trouble getting the monitor to communicate with a CR10X
datalogger we were using for science classes at the school. Mark
Robinson (previously with Advanced Energy Inc.) contacted me and offered
to help. Since then I, and the Campbell Scientific (CR10X) technician
have communicated with Mark numerous times via phone and email. He's
taken evening and weekend phone calls to try to make things right.

We now have the AM100 sending data to a laptop - however it still won't
talk right to the CR10X. Mark is sending us 2 of his own AM100's to make
sure we get this up and running in time. (The Campbell tech got stranded
in Chenega Bay for a couple weeks-otherwise we'd have been done by now)
Mark's warranty support on this issue has been great. Considering that
Advanced Energy is no longer in business, it's pretty astounding.

I'm posting this here because I like reading what others have to say
about the support they get from equipment manufacturers. I try to stick
with the best because it helps me serve my customers better. You can bet
I'm going to try to do business with the next company Mark works at!
