AES MM500 [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches,

I have installed dozens of Advanced Energy GC-1000’s and my advice is to
keep a spare in the shop or perhaps even bring it to the job site. When
you have a bad inverter you will have to pull it off the wall and pay to
ship it back to New Hampshire for repair. Don’t forget to call for a
return authorization number. AE will try to repair the unit and they
only pay the shipping cost to return it. I shipped one last week via
UPS at a cost of about $50.00

The reason I keep a spare is to avoid having live wires hanging where
the inverter should be, try and keep this a secret from the customer if
possible and avoid having to drive back to the job site again.

Overall I am satisfied enough with the GC-1000 inverters to keep selling
and installing them.
