Allan,

My home in Grants Pass, Oregon is 1550 square feet, built in 2000, typical
subdivision type home with energy efficient appliances and cf lighting
averages around 15kwh per day. Like homes in the same subdivision without
energy efficiency measures run about 20kwh per day.

Subject: American energy use [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches:
I need some comparative figures on typical energy use to use in my grid-tie
proposals.
What is the annualized average daily kilowatt-hour consumption of the
conventional American grid-powered home?
What is the same for a home considered to be "energy-efficient", again using
broad national figures?

Thanks, Allan
