Was the TV/ Stereo RF input cable (coax) or through an antenna? The situation I
am familiar with had a external TV antenna that was picking up the inverter
"noise" which wiped out the TV signal they were after...

On the positive side, the TV did not buzz anymore like it did with the mod sine
wave inverter it replaced though so  watching videos was improved.
