You've no doubt thought of this but:
An 1800W load for what...12 hours or so for a firing? I'm guessing.
If right, that's 21.6KW if the heater stays on all the time. Assuming 
you crank it up in the morning of a sunny day and you've got 2KW or 
better of PV, you're still going to need quite a bit of battery 
there, me buck-o.
Are you nuts? Sure! But in the best way....
