Sure, it will work just a simple resistive load. It would be even more fun
and a real treat at outdoor shows to use a parabolic solar furnace to do the
job with "toe-tracking" - a mini Solar 1!!

I've been fusing and blowing glass for some time now, and I have always
wanted to operate one of my small kilns (15 amp, 115 volt) on solar to
save juice, have a neat-o marketing advantage in the galleries and be
able to add to my burn mark collection with solar. I am planning to use
a DR3624 and I think it will be fine, but I'd like to run it by you guys
and gals first, to save me the trouble if I am missing something here. I
am probably the first idiot on the planet to run a kiln with solar, or
maybe not. Thoughts, advice, experience??? Thanks, Smitty.
