LED lights [RE-wrenches]

Allan,

I just saw a pretty slick outdoor LED light that was
designed and made by Deris over at Clear Dome Solar. 
Deris is a solar product inventor, of sorts.

It is a DC unit powered by a PV module.  He has
installed them up at Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort on a
trial basis.

I saw one demo-ed at a solar cooking summit in the
southern California desert a few weeks ago.  WOrked
really well and it was attractively packaged.

Dunno if this helps, but its worth a shot.
