PV as an investment [RE-wrenches]

Hello all,
This from a letter from a client I was doing design work for (remember 
that 3hp pump):
"...decided to  shelve this for now. We don't feel comfortable with it, 
with all the changes needed to put this together." 
And this from a potential client at a site survey yesterday:
"The guy who put up my fence knows a guy that has a freind who saved 
enough money to put his kids through college" (*wind* only system of 
unknown size)....
We have a lot of work to do.
