Hey Jay,

I've never heard of anyone getting 720 watts out of a 303, but the 403
numbers you are now seeing are closer to what I have been getting from
my 403. Was the battery actually down at 12 volts when you were seeing
60 amps, or were you referring to system voltage??

I've noticed slightly better preformance from my AIR with a newer,
beefier battery. I wonder if the charge control tapers output prior to
full charge regulation and perhaps my marginal battery was adversely
effecting preformance. Mine 403 is also sensitive to wind direction,
which is problably a result of wind turbulence due to my tower being too
short.

QUESTION - To those previous posts that were talking about external
diversion loads for the air, is there a simple defeat of the internal
charge regulator, or are you simply cranking the regulator to the max
and then setting the external load to a lower voltage?
