Dear Todd,
Helpful info. In 1998, the City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department received its first
net metering request, but was unsure how to proceed. I was the City's in-house PV
consultant at the time. I explained the law, provided a copy of Southern California
Edison's simple net metering agreement and a copy of my agreement with SCE for my system.
The Anaheim legal department and electrical engineering section drafted an agreement
similar to SCE's. If someone at PacifiCorp would like to speak to an Anaheim Public
Utilities employee, Jan Roosevelt at 714-765-4251 can help them understand how easy it is
for PacifiCorp to comply with the law.
Best regards,
Joel Davidson
