PS remote display malfunction [RE-wrenches]

Hugh - on the SW series, pressing the "Return to Factory Defaults" button in
the remote usually brings back the second line, although it may return to
factory defaults.  That was the fix given to us by the tech folks in NJ.

Hi

I am having problems with the display on a power station inverter -
the second line is gone.  I understand that the display can be
affected by plugging / unplugging when powered up.  I switched the
inverter off and unplugged/plugged it but no joy.  I do not want to
take away the battery voltage since I would lose settings and I am
not sure it would get the display working again to reset them.

ideas?
