If you are looking to save maximum $$ on the power bill then:
You don't say whether your customer has Time OF Use (TOU) metering.
If he/she does, it seems a no brainer to use the grid timer ASSUMING
that a daily cycle is fairly shallow, say 20-30% or less. Without
TOU, I'd probably go with the LBX mode and set the crossover at
whatever 20-30% works out to be. Got a A/hr meter in the system?
If the absolute longest battery life is the criteria, then keep them on Float.
You want both? Ha!
