Water pumping on grid tie [RE-wrenches]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that if you have
time-of-use metering then you also have time-of-use NET metering!  If the
pumps run all night then you are buying power at the low rate and selling
back PV power all afternoon at the high rate--sounds like an easy sell to
me.

Also, to Baran re "What good is cutting edge when all it does is bite you?"
an old friend in the computer biz once admonished me to always be aware of
the difference between the leading edge and the bleeding edge.
