Hi folks,
    The best way I've found to hook a diesel genset to an SW is to purchase
the genset with the remote start Murphy shutdown package. This cute little
thing (expensive...$700-$900) controls all the functions which are normally
manually controlled....glow plugs, cranking time, etc. Essentially, it
converts the genset to 2-wire remote operation. We've had great results
with these.
