Bill Brooks et al,

I have lurked in the background for some time (and tremendous bandwidth
from users who don't edit their messages); however, you are now
inappropriately resorting to sensationalism. (Also, perhaps you are
forgetting that solar (and wind and water) wrenches come in more than one
flavor; and even sometimes with multiple flavors.)

I will not yet get involved in the discussion of pv installation
certification; however, I would suggest that you confine your analogies to
something a bit more appropriate. Let's compare apples to apples.

To paraphrase:
Make a mistake in plumbing, things get wet. Make a similar mistake in
electrical, things go dark.
