Batteryless Bergey XL.1 ? [RE-wrenches]

Hello Group,

Are the regular Bergey XL.1's shipping predictably yet?  I have yet to order
one but might get to soon.  I notice that the Bergey website mentions a
"batteryless grid version XL.1 expected in fall of 2001" which would suit
the needs of this project better.  Should I interpret that as fall of 2003?
