Greetings All,

I have a client with an SW2512 in a stand-alone system with generator.
He was getting about 100 amps into the battery while battery voltage was
low and he was running the generator. Now all of a sudden he is only
getting about half that. When he mentioned that some of his lights and
stereo have developed a slight buzz, I was reminded of some discussion a
while back about some FET's going out in the SW's that can reduce power
and cause the inverter to put out something closer to a Modified Square
Wave?? I would imagine this condition would also effect the charge
rate?

Would anuyone have any suggestions as to how to confirm that this is the
situation (I don't sport a scope). Also, he is thinking about
adding/stacking another SW2512 (I know some suppliers still have them in
stock) and I'm wondering if his v.4.01 is the latest model Trace made
and/or compatible?

Thanks in advance -- Kurt Nelson
