Eric,

Got to look at worst case in the U.S. code. Not sure how Canada code treats
the high voltage end of the voltage. In the U.S. if it can get below -5
degrees F, you have to use a full 1.25 multiplier on your overall open
circuit voltage. There are only a few places in Canada that cannot get that
cold (Vancouver). Vancouver would use a 1.17 correction factor according to
the 1999 NEC Article 690 (-4 to 13 F). If you are using a crystalline module
with a Voc of 22.0 Volts, the code only allows 23 modules in series. It is
different for every module.
