[RE-wrenches] 24v to 48v upgrade help

Over the years I have *never *seen loads, no matter how small, taken off of
a mid point of a battery not cause serious issues with cell balancing. Even
with the use of the Vanner equalizer there were always still problems with
the battery bank. So I would never do it.  When I converted to a 48 volt
system I installed an AC to 24VDC power supply for my ElSid circ pumps for
the radiant floor. AC to DC converters like the ones from Mean-Well are
pretty efficient and inexpensive. If you have larger, or motor loads, you
would have to get a larger converter of course.
