<div dir="ltr">Over the years I have <u>never </u>seen loads, no matter how small, taken off of a mid point of a battery not cause serious issues with cell balancing. Even with the use of the Vanner equalizer there were always still problems with the battery bank. So I would never do it. When I converted to a 48 volt system I installed an AC to 24VDC power supply for my ElSid circ pumps for the radiant floor. AC to DC converters like the ones from Mean-Well are pretty efficient and inexpensive. <p> Ain't nothing wrong with going to 48 volt. It sort
of sounded like you wanted to stick with 24 volt but if they want
to replace PVs too (which it sounded like in your original post),
go 48.</p>
