HI Michael,
It was for 2 reasons. If both relays are bad then yes the board needs replacing.
But also its easy to work in the radian to add a 12v relay cube to give you the dry contact you need.
Vs going into the back of the FNDC. And I don’t know what anyone else has heard but OB tech support told me years ago not to use the FNDC relay for AGS.
I had been using it for AGS and was having some intermittent issues. Changed it to the inverter and didn’t have any more issues.

the wiring socket is on the same page.
I prefer using this method as this relay is really cheap and easy to replace and very reliable.
