[RE-wrenches] Wellpump VS Radian

Well, here at the Oasis we have a battery-based grid-tie system.  My entire home/office runs through the inverter, it's a single Radian, older 8048 that was installed around 2014.  In 2016 I had to have a new well drilled (our water table's dropping here in the valley), and had to go from 186 ft. to 289 ft. deep.  I now have a 3 HP Goulds, with soft-start, in place and it has worked flawlessly.  It's got a Franklin motor, Goulds pump end and Aquavar Solo controller (Part nos. S09970, 18GS30, and 3AS30 respectively).  I run that pump about 3 days a week in the summer, as we have over 3500 ft. of drip and a big garden.  And plenty of sun.  It keeps my pressure tank constantly between 58 and 61PSI (I believe that's adjustable).  

I love the Goulds product line; my first 1.5HP 240VAC pump lasted 25 years; we have a little sand in our good water here so the ability to handle abrasives is important.  There's my 2 cents worth.

I need some actual off-grid experience some of you wrenches may have had with with a (or 2) Radian(s) starting and running a 3HP, 230Volt, single phase, 3-wire submersible well pump.  It would be starting against a
50-100 foot static level in the well and a pressure in the pressure tank of 35psi.

             Yesterday I clamped a 2 HP well pump and during start up got an inrush current on a Fluke of 38 amps (both legs), which was against 200 feet of water column and 40psi in the tank. Unfortunately, I need a 3HP pump for this install.  I've read specs on all sorts of data sheets, running amps, max amps,locked rotor amps, but I need  real world knowledge.  What do we know?
