My comment about the gateway dual xanbus is not going to help you as
there are not too many devices. The solar is not in the network. I think
you need to eliminate the external contactor as the source.
Or,
There
was an issue I saw on a clients system and we had to revert back to older
firmware. This is why I asked what you are running? Also asked if this is
offgrid in another email. Good Luck !

controllers. I've discussed this with tech support but so far none of their
ideas have helped. New firmware was installed on the inverters when the
output voltage was calibrated. Occasionally the system will connect with
the generator. Usually, the external contactor closes, then opens again.
Often within a second. Sometimes it opens a few seconds later or up to 30
seconds later.

What gen are you using? I assume
it is stable at 6ohz right? Needs to be darn close, and once it qualifies
it can follow the gen. If there is solar and sun it may not do anything as
the voltage will be up. You probably know all of this. I attached a cheat
sheet for a client who was having a similar problem. Good Luck! Really am
going now.....

multi-inverter setup with three inverters per the multi-inverter design
guide [6]? I've got one installed per the manual and am having a devil of a
time getting it to stay latched onto the generator with the external
contactor. Can't even get it to stay latched on with no load. All advise on
getting this to work is appreciated.
