Seems like over kill and I too am wondering why use anything but UL listed wire. I always use tinned cable from Cobra. They have the “X FLEX” and the “X FLEX 150” the X flex #2AWG is good for 213 Amps 2/0 is good for 336 Amps. The X FLEX 150 #2AWG is good for 255 and the 2/0 is good for 390 Amps.
