thanks for the reply jerry,
nope, no changes...
the first thing i did was to swap mates and saw the same readings. outback customer support said they thought it was the control board (because ac boards rarely fail), so i will do that tomorrow... but thought some wrences might have seen this anomaly before saving me a possible second trip off and back on the wall.

Have done any software updates or other component changes, have you used another mate to confirm same condition present. Have you confirmed that the selling amount is accurate. I have had very little issues with the FX on general but l have had mates act up.

wrenches,
i have a GVFX3648 that is acting weird,
rather then the mate normally showing:
AC <-> DC which shows the inverter's total power processing,
minus "AC load"
equals "Selling"
now the AC <-> DC shows nothing and "AC load" = "Selling" are identical (both track the same level of load and selling)
the unit is still selling, but the transformer is running hot and humming louder then normal... fet and cap temps are normal.
question:
is this the ac board
or the control board
i have spares for both but don't want to replace things that still work fine.
thanks,
todd
