All HVAC suppliers sell Aluminum or PVC jacketing pipe and fittings for
elastomeric insulation over piping . You can also slide long runs inside
either ABS black pipe either solid or foam core or PVC pipe Sch 20 or 40 or
Electrical Grey Pipe or Schedule 80 Plumbing Pipe - all with couplings .
Elastomeric paint can be found at HVAC suppliers also and tapes . High Temp
elastomeric insulation should be used near the inlet and outlet of the
collectors also . Birds , raccoons , and squirrels will often tear up the
elastomeric insulation if painted or taped . PS : Squirrels often chewed
the heads off fake Rattle Snakes I used on the roof near the collectors. I
lend out live traps now and turn them loose in the Swamp . Gator Tom
