In the otherwise well written document by John Wiles, cited by Bill, I believe
John is in error when he says, "Section 230.79(D) requires that the disconnect
have a minimum rating of 60 amps.

John is talking about the PV disconnect. In this instance, the PV disconnect is
only PART of the total service disconnect. It is but one switch of up to six
allowed per service. Article 230.79 specifies the minimum size of the entire
service not of the individual switches.
