Trace/Kohler light flicker [RE-wrenches]

Greetings Wrenches,

Been following this Kohler thing sorta... Could go to the Meter Menue
and check the hertz while the gen-set is running as well as the voltage
window.  BUT, has anyone mentioned backing off the charge rate.  I think
AC Input Amps default setting could be more than the gen-set can
handle.  Usually, over drawing the gen-set will result in a tripped
breaker on the gen-set (or the fused disconnect device between the
gen-set and the Trace).  However, depending on how it is wired in (or
not) backing off the ac input amps could be the fix?
