Grundfos SQ ac pumps [RE-wrenches]

Hi David,

You can get the Grundfos from any grundfos dealer, they are not "solar" pumps only no
surge.  The run at very hi rpm and as I understand it, since it takes a while to get up
to speed there is no "surge".


The specs in the book may be wrong, you can double check with denis ( see below) or
your grundfos dealer.

I don't recommend running them with a Exeltech as I have heard and seen to many
problems with them running motors.  I am pretty sure ( talk to Denis Ledbetter at APC )
they run on mod sine ok.

I have no experiece with the neptune on the exeltech, love to hear if you do find out
though!

I am also curious why that model.  The other companies ( sears, gibson etc ) are about
1/2 the price, is it that much better?
