SW2512 and pump problems [RE-wrenches]

I was going to suggest you check the starting capacitor, but as your pump is a 2
wire unit there in no starting capacitor, at least at the top end. I am not sure
how a 2 wire pumps work, but I suspect the starting circuitry is on the pump
itself.

I had a similar problem with a 3 wire pump with blown capacitor, which was easily
solved. Sounds like a problem with the pump. Does this situation also happen
running off the genset?
