Project Involement Level? [RE-wrenches]

Kurt and Travis and all,
    I'm right with you guys! I spent close to 20 years running my own
remodeling/construction business and learned a LOT of neat little tricks
along the way. I take a lot of enjoyment from the fact that with RE, I can
use all of my skills I've honed over the years. Anyway...the point
(finally)...I tend to get seriously caught up in the details that you are
describing. And I'm fortunate that most folks do seem to listen and take my
advice. On the other hand, I must admit it's tough to step back and shut up
when they don't!
    I would always like to be involved in building the whole house... but
right now I'll settle for the few doors, windows, efficient appliances and
extra insulation I can squeeze in!
