Gas Dryers and Washing Machines [RE-wrenches]

The Gibson Tumble Action washer (GWT445RFS as of 1997) and the Frigidaire
FWT445GE are the same front-loading unit, with different name plates. Don't
tell 'em it's an inverter...
One of our best clients (grid-backup, as he thinks of it, to 2.4kW of
PV, 20kW Kohler, SW5548/D) put in the Frigidaire last year and it wouldn't
work when on Trace power. At Tony Boatwright's suggestion, we added a BIG
electrolytic cap--still no go. We plugged it into another nearby receptacle
that was tied to the other stacked inverter, and it's been fine since. Who
woulda thunkit?
