SW charging problems [RE-wrenches]

Hey all,

Lots about this SW charging problem, and I'd agree with the (100ft, 16
guage???) extension cord maybe, but with a lot of the other responses I'm
wondering about what part I'm missing here. If that Battery was toast,
wouldn't the Trace still try and follow the standard charge procedure of
bringing the voltage up to bulk and then drop into the absorption stage
prior to totally dropping the gen-set?

Kurt Nelson

The inverter recognised the grid power, the volts
and hertz were perfect but evertime I'd try to
initiate charging the charger would only ingage and
the bulk light would come on for about 5 sec. before
it would kick out.
