Trace efficiency [RE-wrenches]

Maybe Sharky would be interested in re-posting the set-up he did to improve
the efficiency of his SW by making it disconnect after completing a day's
charging cycle.  I think Jim Kerbel detailed the same type of trick in a
Home Power article/system (I could find the HP#).  Doing a grid-hybrid
system also can come up with some better numbers, though I have yet to
document them.  Some home loads such as refrigeration are switch onto and
off of the grid with a 30 amp DT relay (based on battery voltage), and the
system is left in LBX in a nearly stand-alone design.  A few months ago I
would have said that if Trace wouldn't do it (silent/better efficiency),
someone else would fill the gap.  Now, with the inverter mergers, it is less
likely, but will happen.
