My experience with Sun Frost units over 12 years has been that they
consistently use what Sun Frost says they should use, or less, at a given
room temperature. I have measured my own RF19 Sun Frost at 720 watt hours per
day.
The complaint people have with Sun Frost is not in their efficiency
(nothing I have seen short of a custom made unit will come close) but their
poor design in other areas. Such as their door seals, which have been poor
over the years and recently got worse.
