Todd chargers in 24 VDC systems [RE-wrenches]

Todd as you probably discovered, is all in Indiana now, no more Tucson.

The 70 amp charger normally produces 50 amps, only going above that at some
minimal low battery voltage.  It IS sensitive to peak voltage of the
generator, falling off as much as 50% when a Honda 3500 is used as source.
Also the taper off as limit voltage is reached is sometimes sharp, sometimes
very rounded.

Statpower Truecharge 40+ is a better bet because they do give full output at
nearly any input source you can find, and they also tell you what that
output is via bar graph and have an equalize button as well as AGM and gel
settings.  Depending on Todds mood that day, the Stat product may be close
in price to what you pay for the Todd 75.

Lets all petition Statpower to produce a 24 volt version of the TrueCharge
40 or a stand-alone version of the chargers in 12 and 24 volt ProSine
inverters. Its a needed item. Maybe 48 volt next year too.
