E-meter [RE-wrenches]

I am hooking up a e meter with on a 48 voltage system that needs a
prescaler. I usually use the TriMetric and haven't used a Emeter for years
and now I remember why.

Why do both the prescalers in and out leads have the same warning sticker?
It says "Do not connect this cable to battery. Connect directly to meter
terminal block. Black to pin 1, Red to pin 4". Which one is correct? I
assume the "in" gets the 48 volts from the battery bank and the "out" goes
to the meter but the Emeters instructions for over 24 volt applications are
geared towards EV's.

I am experimenting using the Emeters relay to control a 2 wire generator.
What experiences have others had using this?

Thanks
Travis Creswell
