What's the alternative, Propane? Not my favorite and a high efficiency 
electric will pay back in about 8-10 years compared t propane.  Noice is a 
subjective issue. What is too noisy?  The sunfrost is no noiser than other 
freezers or refrig.  The estimate on the Maytag efficiency may be a bit 
optimistic, though that approch is ok for those who want a "production" 
applience. And there are some good reasons sometimes for this choice.
