Oh, I'd take $30 ppd. for the trouble of packing it up and shipping 
it. I just plugged it in and played both incoming and outgoing 
messages.

Louis (son #1) says you should check out what's for sale at Radio 
Shack. Last time I looked, a lot of it was 12 volt DC after the wall 
cube.
