help with hydro site calcs [RE-wrenches]

Hi List,

I am needing some information on sizing a hydro installation. Generally one
knows the available flow in GPM, but this situation is a bit different. The
customer has water rights off a ditch to "take up to a 2" pipe's worth of
water". Running 675' of 2" PVC, he will have 60' of head.

I need to know what kind of maximum flow will run through a 2" pipe. I can't
seem to find any charts listing this. Once I know that, I can figure friction
loss and estimate the net pressure available at the generator site.

Also is there an easy to figure estimated output in watts knowing net head and
flow? I need to size the Harris and delivery wire.

Thanks in advance.

Todd
