Referral [RE-wrenches]

I like the idea a lot, but I share the concern of others re how to establish
some controls on who can be on the list.  Eventually this could become the
definitive list of bona-fide wrenching dealers with solid reputations.
There should be some clearly-defined set of qualifications to be on it, as
some of those who are least qualified may want the most to be included.  I
would like to see the discussion continue about how to structure a procedure
for qualifying applicants, that all would have to go through, including all
of us.
    I don't have good answers on what to require, though.  There's no
testing standard, and wrenches are a notoriously independent bunch.  Perhaps
an old-timers review committee, with Bob-o, Richard, Steve..(where's a
woman's name when I need one?), others who have been around the block a few
times...it's still a pretty small industry.

(even Trace service dept keeps logs of who sends them stuff that's really
broke and who sends bogus problems)
