Deep water... [RE-wrenches]

That is a lot of lift and a lot of water both.  You can always get a big
pump and a huge tank and run the generator to operate the pump, since it
seems it is to be the initial charging source anyway.  With that situation
you will want to have large loads all accomplished when the generator is on
using power direct.

If it is to be solar powered eventually, you might look into the Grundfos DC
powered agricultural pumps sold by applied Power in Lacey Washington. I
think they might handle such volumes, not sure. They run on 60 or more volts
array direct and have inverter and AC motor within the sub-pump as I recall.
But big $$

Solar arrays set for high voltage can be switched out of series and into
parallel for 24 or 48 volt charging. A bank of transfer switches DPDT can do
it, or even relays if switching daily when tanks are full.  Its a lot of
wiring and potentially troublesome contacts but it has been done.

Just some ideas, I won't suggest which approach from your list is best here
because all seem somewhat intimidating considering that it looks like the
water requirement numbers and the project budget may just not fit together
there.
