Hi Ladies and Gents -
There is a bit too much e-mail in my box - abit of chit chat - I
just delete the stuff that doesn't pertain - meanwhile the technical
advice is great - One problem is that it's all PV talk - and I only do
Micro Hydro - But the inverter and battery discussion is very useful.
Now - about this marketing talk - It does fill up the mail box - I'm
a little nervous it's going to be outlawed - SOOO - I'm going to indulge
in a little ( alot ) of good old self promotion .
I've worked in hydro for 22 years and now I've finally gotten around
to designing and building an ultra low head reaction turbine especially
for the RE market. Basically it's i Miniature ( 10" dia Runner ) utility
style Francis turbine all built from stainless and fitted with a scroll
case so it can be bolted to a 10" pvc pipeline. I call it the Nautilus
Turbine. This baby developes 600 watts on 4 feet of head and gulps 1337
gpm. At 10 feet of head it puts out 2300 watts - there is a smaller 8"
model too. I'll mail specs sheets to anyone who is interested - We have
put some capital into this effort - and we are setting up at the MWRE
Show in Madison next week - maybe I'll meet some of you there - I hope
so.
Next week or so we will have a Web page at www.waterturbine.com for
now there are some Picts of the finished unit at:

Sorry to fill your e-mail box if this doesn't interest you - Just
delete.
    Best Ron
